Create your own CV

Main points to ensure that your CV is best adapted to the Swedish job market

 

TO DO:

1. Make each word count 

2. Add your contact information at the top of the first page

3. The CV needs to be clear, organized, easy to read and uncluttered, such as pleasing to the eye

4. The CV needs to be adapted to the company’s needs that you apply to

5. Present the information in bullet form (education, work experience)

6. Include experiences that provide relevant information for the position, such as courses, seminars, congresses or conferences7. Add any references

7. You should reply to a job ad in the language it’s written in -Write your CV in swedish even using translation

8. Include a photograph of yourself

9. Write a cover letter expressing your interest to be part of a company-be hired at a specific position

 

NOT TO DO:

1. Multiple colours and fonts

2. Whole sentences, OR too much information (max two pages)

3. Attach diplomas or documents, unless they ask for it 

 

Note that:

If you are a recent graduate you would probably want to put education first since you might not have so much work experience yet
